I've been reading a lot about various events through this site, and after noticing that all of them seem to be based in England, I find my self needing to ask a question. Are there any such events over here in the States? I don't see myself crossing the ocean anytime soon, but would like to attend one of these gatherings. Your help (and delicious emoticons) are greatly appreciated.

Well, a few years ago a rather ambitious roadtrip had been proposed. Not simply visiting numerous locations in the U.S. but passing through a number of Canadian cities too...I think the logistics got to them
. So unfortunately, we're both in the back row for now
so to speak.
