am i getting too old for this lark,my fave era for music was from 1953 to 1967 and a lot of those songs have had numerous cover versions done,not always for the best

Petula Clarke and Tom Jones now that's the best of the 60's.
Unchained Melody has been ruined by its numerous terrible cover versions .

why did you have to pick the two artists i can`t stand

more into the platters,searchers,animals,who,elvis beatles

I can never understand why the Beatles got so much hype, listening to their music I just can't see any good in it, just a load of pap!

my list is endless that was just an example of what i miss in the musical period not like the tub thumping sounds of today,didn`t mention buddy holly,orbison,big bopper,ritchie valans etc
