Hi Apollyon, ye foul fiend ye!
Welcome to the Ireland Researchers Group. There's a little technical problem in adding you to the list (the owner of the list has gone for a pint) but I hope to have it sorted soon.
There hasn't actually been much happening here recently; we were all surprised to see the group featured. But with a bit of new blood we should be able to revive the place and give it a lick of paint.

If you are coming down to Cork and want a bit of help settling in, let me know.
I'm *ahem* going to be taking up a job that's based in Dublin though..

You can actually speak Irish too!?!? I'm impressed. I never got the chance to learn.

Woodpigeon: It's OK, I'm doing quite well. I'm sharing a house with a Dubliner, two Americans, a Pole, and a Romanian, and have settled in quite nicely.
Gnomon: Thanks a lot!
NPY: Not really. You'd be surprised how long it too me to write that posting at the top, and if anyone actually tried aying anything to me in Irish, I'd be lost. Stupid schools...
(Apparently the word that starts with F and ends with 'eck' is banned by h2g2.)

I've read the list several times and I still don't seem to be on it, so I would like to be added.
I would also like the image of the gentleman with the bad haircut playing soccer (badly) in his brogues and underpants in front of a giant shamrock removed from the Ireland Researchers page, but maybe that's just me.

Hmm Z, I think you have a point there. What's with the diagonal stripe? Is it Gaelic football he is playing or soccer? If it's Gaelic football, then what's with the dark spots on the ball?
And that shamrock in the background is just pants.

The soccer player in the pants in front of the shamrock that is pants is now gone.
And Zube is added to the list.
Key: Complain about this post
