So what does being on this list mean then? And where did you think I lived? I tend to assume most people here are English unless it's specifically stated they aren't. Always good to try and read the posts in the different relevant accents - how bored do I get at work!!?!

Being on the list gives you the chance to er..ah...ermm..be on the list. Sorry but no free beer.
I didnt really know where you lived, and you are right that Many people on H2G2 are from England, there are also loads of Americans, scottish and people from all around the world!
As for being bored at work, thats what H2G2 is for!
If i enjoyed my work I wouldnt be on H2G2.
