Memes

Post 1

Mark Rest

Richard Dawkins defines memes in his publication 'The Selfish Gene'. They are like genes in that they are the smallest unit of information that can be passed from person to person. They also survive like genes so the most successful memes(thoughts) survive by transferring to many people. As to the means of communication, other than audio and visual we have h2g2 surely the best way to propagate memes.
