No, it has no connection to any political opinions. Its supposed to be a puzzle. As I mentioned on my front screen, its a nickname of a character in a science fiction book I like. In fact, I'll give another clue to anyoe who wants to figure it out-the author is Isaac Asimov and the book won a Hugo.

I don't watch much TV. I have no idea. One of the Star Treck shows?

Sorry, since I live in the US the only BBC I ever get to watch is when PBS (theoreticaly the USe equivalent of BBC, but on a much smaller scale) shws old reruns of BBC comedies. I have seen quite a few episodes of "Faulty Towers" and "Blackadder Goes Forth".
Therefore, I almost certainly haven't seen whatever show you are talking about.

Oh well, btw it has just come to the US I believe.
But never the less- it's Red Dwarf, a British Sci-Fi comedy series and Arnold Judas Rimmer, the last ranking crewman onboard the mining ship Red dwarf is the show's complete and utter (and dead) ba***rd.

It is on PBS in the US. I've seen it in the TV listings but never watched it because it's on at about 1 AM. I'll record an episode and watch it. It sounds interesting.
