h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

hey, i was perusing around and ive got a question. How do you know which articles are in the UG? Becasue i cant seem to find any... am i being very dense? Its just ive got this story that when its finished i dont know what to do with and i wanted to see if it was the right sort of thing and... i think you get the idea...

Currently ten entries are in the UG, but none have appeared on the front page yet. The very first ones will make it the front page in early September.

Your story is being seriously considered as an entry to select. The only problems are- as you say that it isn't necessarily finished and we needed to know if you were comfortable with it going on the front page.

If it's finished and it's comfortable, I'll give the signal that it's okay to be chosen. But please don't take this to mean it will definitely get it. It's a strong candidate though. Thank you for writing it.

Oh. I didnt know that. Do you mean about the abortion? Erm... it isnt finished yet, but i was thinking about rounding it up soon. I cant keep writing it forever... As for if im ok with it being used... well, i havent got anything against that at all. I wrote it and posted it here so people could read it and if i didnt want that it'd have gone by now. Im just alittle scared in case people start to say i did the wrong thing and i get anti-abortion abuse. So i dont know. What do you think? I think if you want to use it you can, but when its finished. I'll let you know when that is... And if you dont use it then it'll stay on here anyway.

Im surprised. I dint know you'd been reading it and considering it. What are the other articles then? Id like to read some of them...

I don't think you will get caught up in debate. Most people are very supportive around here. And as for reading and considering it, there was some talk that it would be great for us, but our only issue is making sure you're comfortable with it once you've finished it

Ok... well it should be finished in a week or so. Does it need to be in GuideML? its not at the mo, but i can change that. I dont want to be anonymous. I posted it on hootoo originally so it was anonymous but not totally if you understand... Whe you say its out of my hands i assume you mean i cant edit it, but will it still appear on my space as mine? I dont want to lose it completely. Anyway - i shall have a look at those other articles in a mo so...
