hi everyone...IF YOU LIVE IN GUILFORD ,SURREY,do you know of a friend of mine that i lost touch with????her name was linda woodward,and she comes from BRADFORD.she worked at home and colonial,and left here to join the army around 1966.she was stationed in guilford,and woodward is her maiden name.so it could have changed of course,i would love to hear from her again,so if you can help ,please message me.thanks sal

i sal.i was in the army in 66

give the army infromation center
a ring they will tell you how to search by name,if you know where
she enlisted.
then you will be able to find out when she left and where she was at the time,
i have the info somewhere how to find an army record i,ll email the www address and the phone numder to the sal1 later jim

thanks jim,i'll give it a try,but i did ring them years ago,and they said they couldnt giveme any info,as it was confidential.i dont even know if she ever married,so she may have ahd a different name when she left the army!!!!chat soon,hope youre okay.salxx

i sal,there are people who search the records for army personel,i have a full list of the researchers.

ive been helping a neibour to find someone who was killed in
france in 1918,

i have the list,i,ll send you it on emails,there are a few pages to choose from,they have,email
address and phone numbers.

they charge for a basic search around £10,payable only after the search as be completed,you will be asked for anything you have that can aid in the search

thanks a lot jim,i would lke to find her if i could.i spent almost two years looking for an old friend that i hadnt seen for about fifteen years,and i found her daughter,my friend had died four years before.i did all that myself,and it was fairly hard,but ive been doing the family tree as well,but havent touched it for over a year now.i only have the one e--mail addy now,but you know what it is.chat soon.salxx

Its a great place you can put the name,s and as much info you can remember about the people your looking for, and keep checking i,ve found 5 of my old School chum,s from my infant School and 3 from the place i worked at, if i can do it and were talking over 50yr ago for some, well i think you should have some chance also.

the weather here is very warm my sister went to devon yesterday morning with hubby and kids the weather is fine down there 2 i just hope it stays nice for her anyway i hope to chat soon
