Your simple message will forever have a special place in my conversation logs. My first unsolicited, 'not ACE' entry! Yeah!

To tell the truth, I had an 'in' on the page layup stuff--I'm a professional web developer. The bad poetry and other content is, sadly, all my own though.


So, now tell me... what gave me away as a newbie? (Other than the new-car smell and the plastic on the seats?) (And, of course, the over-use of smileys.)

GuideML is not quite HTML, but the rules are the same (actually they're identical to XML rules):

Use < > not [ ] or anything else when using tags.
CAPS Don'T MaTTEr fOR TAGs or ATtribUtes. But TRY Not to Write a Randsom letTER. IT'LL HeLP LateR.

Lingo in the above:
FONT = Tag
SIZE = Attribute
"+1" = Value (the quotes are a 'nicety')
/FONT = Close tag for Tag

(Remember, make the tags consistent UPPER or lower. Neither way is 'right' but you'll develop a preference. See the chaos I started with the lowercase smiley tag? Of course, if your a true anarchist you won't like ML at all... rules, rules, rules.)
