i will have the library, but not the same, but is free, and can go after an hour or so at the cyber,i have to pay for,

there will be some that thought of digis as intelopers,be glad we are going, whats left, others, that saw us in the heyday as top contributers, boars head, teashoppe and more.

there wont be time for guides or post entries, the library ones are miles to slow.and i have plenty to update on the forums at the cyber.

health and weather as made it i can only get to town once or twice a week, till it gets warmer.

im going to put the days as the go on my tag, and watch the h2g2 slip slowly away day by day from here at home. (the clocks ticking) J.H.D.

Jim I am very sorry to see it happen and that you and others who come here using the magic-link either go completely or only go when they are able to go to the library or internet cafe.

Im on digibox but can also get on here usin mobi phone as im doin right nowbut ive got some great news for YOU ALL ive decided im not movin over to the BBC_iD i shall delete my personal space+all the so called friends i have on my space. Yes that will sure put a BIG smile on your faces not havin me around no more,i shall also be cancellin cable no need for that rubbish no more the emails aload of pants now i have hotmail via mobi only a very small handfull has it so i bid you all a very good bye!!!

from the replies looks like me and the box going into oblivion, is a glitch that no,one give a hoot for "WAITS AS THE DIGI LINKS FADES TO NOTHING"LOL.

Jim,

You are not alone,at least you will have the library and cyber to at least visit sometimes.

They are both a no go for me.

You will have to give me your email address on the box.

I have it somewhere but where I dont know.
After the house was done it and I had to clear things out so did the book with email addresses in.

So theres no hope at all for us poor digi users.

If you ever find a way to get us back in please let me know.

Hers hoping but I know it will never be a no no but who knows.

Hmm never answerd my post well guess what Jim I'm going to be around for a bit longer I thinks I found a way and upgraded I can go on BBC iPlayer YIPPEE I got the email from BBC_iD comfirming my email addys is upto date now I've saved Sign in with your BBC iD and I'm still here on the old h2g2, wonder what kow did wrong to have to get another name hmm? I have hotmail.co.uk email addy also use MSN all off my mobile phone good isn't it hey? Oh well I know you won't answer me so don't know why I bother I shall have to tell Teresa how to upgrade and still keep activemail email account enjoy going to the Library and internet cafe Brrr cold outside going to again soon. Good morning Jim Thank You for the reply erm I dont have a go at folk I have a laugh! I dont always use the bleep word are the grr but arnt they there for that? Ive seen others use them more than I have hot dinners lol. It pritty cold out there this morning it is here in Telford anyway. I text Teresa most days see how she is if she gets on here with her mobi she needs to use Opera Mini because when I got the BBC iD email it wouldnt send back so I typed in Opera Mini where the www. is all them next page>

2nd page>had to type in by hand all them numbers, letters, & these % three rows of numbers erm ie http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/Cc123456789Ftd%h2g2/987654321%****_**** (BTW them stars my login name just an example (they're not my login name) what I was looking at on the TV screen cus via mobi you cant click on links via a hotmail/yahoo email addy have to use a PC for that so on Opera Mini theres a box top of screen with www. I typed all them nums,letters etc by hand & Abracadabra I have moved over next page>>>

3rd page>yep all in by hand I pressed ok on mobi it said my email somthing was up so I had to type them all in again then I got the took sometime so ive migrated my a/c over+saved on Opera Mini in bookmarks the BBC iD sign on im also a member of Opera Mini, as well as Facebook, QEEP, Zedge, etc etc I get unlimited internet via phone you see also helps to have qwerty keyboard on phone right I shall say byee for now yes pitty that digi wont get access bye Jim t/c 10.36am 8-2-10

Hi Jim, did you know the magic link still works? Only for browsing though cant login i tried. So if i just want to lurk i can via digi so i thought of letting you know if you get bored at a night time you can still come on here but cant post! Also what has changed is the set up of BBC web pages ie Eastenders & so on, i still use Plain skin i used it to migrait didnt use Brunel! Has Teresa got on here do you know? I did email her. I saw your msg on digi so logged on via mobi, im loggin out now tgc
