i think im not the only one that was disapointed at the final three in britains got talent.

where was the 12 yr old, and the girls escala, even the cheecky monkeys,

i tryed over 20 times in the hour to register one for escala, 4 of the times the phone just blanked me.on redial.

so was it yet another phone mess, and the phones didnt get the full voting,

its was said by simon, and piers that escala and the 12 yrs old, where what prince charles would like, even the bookies had them in the top 3.

last night it was shown on the itv that granada had just been hit for phone rigging.

in a nutshell is it worth rining in, as we never see the amounts each got, this to me is an oversight. you decide.

Jim I did not see the competition but I watched it when the winners were announced. I too was amazed that Escala did not win.

12 yr old/the young alter voice lad/Escala and the Scottish lad(plumber),will be more than likely all guaranteed recording contracts, so technically don't need to appear on royal variety - their wallets will fill soon

We were convinced it was rigged too. I get cross that they don't give an outright winner from the telephone votes, and they don't give the number of notes either. They know how much the telephone calls raised so they do know the number of votes!

I was very disappointed with the result. The young lad will never be short of work, but I wish they would define 'Talent' a little more clearly. I also think it is not right to put children under fifteen up against adults. The very young ones that make it big too early seem to lose their bearings, at least for a while - Charlotte Church, and way back, Lena Zavaroni are just two that come to mind. I hope they will take proper care of such young talent.

We didn't vote as there has been so much about voting and competitions being rigged we have no faith.

I think those with real, lasting, growing talent will succeed, and as Prof says they are already assured of big bucks.

i heard from someone on the phone, that escala as been signed today by simon, so they will do better and probably last longer than all three.

i agree the young ones where ok, but not in the running for the royal v, i dont think anyone under 15 as ever been on the show, if i wrong i,ll stand corrected.

i think that a rule of the phone in ones, is that all finalists amouunt of votes should be shown at the end, then if there is something untowards it will show.

to have say ant and dec with earphones, getting the word, and having to do waht they get, as it comes through is leaving the situation to, is it right or wrong. and they said each time, in no particular order, now where have we heard that in the last 4 yrs plus, ever comptition on phone votes. jim

1st 2nd 3rd when you vote
its just another way for itv
to make money.

there should have been a electronic board, showing the votes filling the names, then we and the contestants can see the voting, the pause like on the night, was uncalled for, even ant and dec, dragged it out, like they where waiting for the name over the earpeice, and the audience even broke silence

The boy who won,I read today ,won't beable to perform at the Royal Command Show anyway..he has hurt his back,doctors have said it would be dangerous for him to continue dancing .....Gene Kelly he is not....the whole show was a fix in my humble opinion Jim ! All of these shows are !

I have heard that too, though it hasn't been reported everywhere. We'll have to see how true it is.

Thanks so much for that link. Oh, dear, poor kid. So young too. Cleft stick comes to mind but I know which I would choose. He has the money prize, and if he can just do that one big performance he owes no-one anything.

if they don't allow him to perform on health grounds, it's a case of will he keep the £100,000, or give the variety place to Signature and another £100,000 ??
