thanks littledarlin
the ironic thing is dad told me about auntie doreen this morning, when he came round to drop some things off from auntie dolly's flat that nana and mum thought i should have.
it's not a nice thing i know, but i feel bad that i don't feel as bad as i think i should. if that makes any sense? but dolly had had several strokes and had heart problems, nan phil had dementia, had recently broke a hip and not recovered from it properly and it was similar with doreen. they aren't suffering anymore is how i'm looking at it in a practical manner, but, well, i don't know. you have elderly relatives, all within a few years of each others' age and something like this is bound to happen.
anyway, thank you for the hug and sympathies.

yeah i understand that feeling!
i felt guilty that i shud b mourning more, but quite frankly was unable to! i thought it made me a bad(worse)person for not being heartbroken, but although i was sorry to hear the news of their demise n felt real synpathy for their families,
fraid i cud n did cope with it in my stride!
different people have different ways of dealing with things i suppose!!
i happen to think it's better for me to think of them as i remember them.
n ur welcome to the sympathy, most of us have been there!

You sound fairly together and there's nothing wrong with that, people tend to get most upset when they have their world shook up by someones passing. When you feel sadness it is not always necessary to go down the sack cloth and ashes route.
If you think of life like a big party its easier to understand that people arrive and they have too leave it really is'nt any good mopping your time at the party away. You may aswell get on and enjoy your time with the people who are still there. Even this philosophy dosent erase all feelings that you shouldn't be enjoying yourself now that there gone and I used to get paranoid that people would think that I wasn't greiving "enough" too. Probably the saddest part though of such times is seeing the emotional pain that some of the people you love go through. Your family are lucky to have someone like you at times like this. (not that there not lucky to have someone open and caring like you the rest of the time)

hi little darlin, it was a response to what you'd both put in the conversation. Daraline is on my friend list well its not much of a list just she so far and thats why i looked in on the conversation.
