Right. I've got enough spare cash to get one new album before Easter (not counting the latest Doves release and Employment by the Kaisers currently on their way to me from CD Wow). However, there are 3 albums released before Easter that I want. And after Easter is Oasis's new album and all the related mockery (the only singles I ever buy are 'sis singles.)
Stereophonics - Language, Sex, Violence, Other?
Pros - Can't be as bad as the last album, the single from it that I've heard is good.
Cons - They peaked at Performance and Cocktails, and I'll end up going to yet another lacklustre 'phonics gig (probably in Edinburgh) if I like more than one song.
Idlewild - Warning/Promises
Pros - I like Idlewild. They're quite good.
Cons - Quite good isn't really that good now is it?
New Order - Waiting For The Sirens Call
Pros - New Order. Man, how amazingly brilliant are New Order. I love them. Did I mention I'm getting onto the guestlist on their next tour?
Cons - They are like 50 odd or something, and I do have the Greatest Hits.
Aziz Ibrahim - From Lahore to Longsight
Pros - He was brilliant live on Sunday night. Plus he will sign the album. Ooooh. Collectable...
Cons - More expensive due to it being sent from his e-shop and not CD-Wow. May not be as good recorded asit was live.
So go on people, what do YOU think?

should be a good year for music indeed. 'Phonics, Oasis, and hopefully..The Foo Fighters all with new stuff out. Well, just on the strength of "Dakota" (the new 'Phonics song) I'd say that would be the wisest choice my friend.

Take it you've not heard 'Krafty' by New Order then?
I'm sort of leaning towards New Order, but only because the last two 'Phonics albums were so bad. Might wait for the next single out...
(Oh, and I can count, I know I said 3 albums and listed four, but Idlewild came to me in a flash of inspiration after I'd typed the 3.)

Yeah. Damn defectors. Anyone signed to a label called 'London Records' deserves to suffer a little bit of music piracy now and then.
Key: Complain about this post
