Roses!

Had a good chat with Aziz outside an Ian Brown gig in Belfast a few years back. Sound lad he was. He was videoing himself talking to people after the gig, but for what purpose I don't remember. Bit pissed.

Came across your personal space by ..... well I'm not sure. Still quite new to h2g2 and get lost frequently!

Went to see Manchester's current best band, The Doves, on Saturday. Great gig.

Arrgh! It's 'Doves', not 'The Doves'!!
Sorry, had that argument with my mate who phoned me from their gig at the liquid rooms in Edinburgh knowing I couldn't get tickets to see them in Sheffield.

Aziz was brilliant, he's touring at the minute and his set's worth going to see, even if just to hear his brilliant version of 'My Star'.

I hate people phoning you from gigs. A friend kept phoning me from the Ian Brown gig in Manchester that Gallagher and UNKLE were at. Saw him a couple of weeks later but just on his own. Brilliant gig though. Good to hear Roses songs played well rather than Squire murdering them. What's your opinion on Browner playing The Roses? Most of my friends aren't happy about it, but I certainly am.
