i'm writing this from my mobile phone, so please excuse the lack of capitals. it appears that in true hitchhikers style i now have instant access to the guide from anywhere i can connect to a mobile phone network. amazing.

How did you get past the password bit? I've tried, but you try to press 'C' (for example), it flashes up an 'A',turns into an asterisk then goes on to the next letter.

Mainly by trial and error. That and pressing the keys really, really fast and hoping for the best.

Yeah, I've tried before but it was to awquard on the piddly small screen of my phone. H2g2 mobile was good though, so long as you just wanted to look up information that is.

Yeah, I thought I'd get h2g2 mobile, but imagine my surprise when I got the real thing. It makes h2g2 mobile obsolete, don't you think?

Yeah, having to scroll down two screens worth of sidebar to get to any content is quite irritating.

You might get better results using the plain skin on your mobile if you're not already.

I was thinking that, but then I realised that I live 5 minutes from the University library which is open 24 hours so I may as well just go there and use the internet for free.

Sorry, I just read as far as "go into the library" and the top of my head blew off through the much depleted hair area, sending fragments of skull far & wide over the wife's shag pile rug, splattering brain tissue across the window (which rather startled the new window cleaner, (don't ask what happened to the old window cleaner - touchy subject involving explosive hamster farts and perming solution)), loosened a piece of ear wax from my right ear which landed in my coffee, where it is now slowly fizzing round and dissolving like pottassium on ice which all rather distracted me from reading on to "to use the internet".
Don't panic, no harm - no foul.
My eyes are watering a bit though.

I've only been in there for free internet usage and cheap coffee. Not to w*rk or anything...
