My posts seem to have shrivelled in length (easy timbly!), the only long'uns I seem to make are because I have to painstakingly point out the obvious to those who just aren't grabbing the gist as it were.

it is very frustrating when a certain person argues till he's blue in the face, and makes baffling arguments which i struggle to follow since he's repeating himself over and over

Good question, and one I'm struggling with a tad. I don't want to have too many topics as people would just be rattling around in there but I thought thr following might be a good idea....

Literature and the Arts - film, books blah blah

Comics ! (of course)

wasn't decide about LotR thought it might be better to have it in the first topic

The Lounge - general chatter

Spamarama - A topic to plug stuff, anything within reason

Art, specifically concept art, illustration etc where links to jobs in teh games industry etc can be linked to and all sorts of art tutorial and related guff.

I'm not too sure any of this works so I'm open to suggestions...

Kat...sounds good! I think the decision of fewer topics is a good idea, less is more as they say. Spamarama's a nice one, 'within reason ' as it's unwelcome on the beeb, but is important.

Aye Tumbly 'tis true. I've been thinking about it for a while now and have started a slight re-jiggle of my site to incorporate some more work from a 'soon to be released' game so I thought now was as good a time as any. It'll probably be a couple of weeks as I've got a lot on me plate this week what with the drool fest at the weekend where I finally get a chance to molest my current filmy obsession.

I was going to keep it to 5, maybe 6 boards with a nice relaxed attitude. Boarders will be able to have avatars, signature images and allowed to put links up etc... Like I said prolly not going to be busy, but like Ed said 'Quality not quantity.. (and a fair bit of messing about) is in order methinks.

Have managed to get on your page, it seems my firewall's ad-blocker was taking exception to something. Glad I realised what it was as that means I can use the Corbis site again now.
