ps. The Cloonster Solaris - marks out of ten?

mmMMMMMmmmm Solaris. Peter pretty much nailed it in his review I think, staggering to look at, reflective and contemplative without wandering into navel-gazing territory. Just right at 88 minutes if ye ask me. Clooney was sublime, very understated and intelligent portrayal. Wasn't too sure of the actress that played his wife but she held her own, definitely Clooney's film though.

It's almost as if the flashback sequences were deliberately filmed to match Clooney; he seems to melt into the scenery. It's on my 'will buy without waiting for bogof' list , which is very small indeed.

I'd give it a 9 I think.
