Here it is, the start of a new season of gardening.
Already the crocuses and snowpdrops are in bloom. Spring is on its way.
Theres been a mound accross my garden for as long as i've lived here. The last owner removed his greenhouse before leaving, but never levelled the ground.
Last year i covered the mound with weed supressing fabric and left it, so all the grass and weeds underneath would die.
Today i finished digging over the ground and finally getting rid of the unsighlty mound. I still have break down the soil and then rake it level. In March i plan to seed it with grass seed.
I noticed that some of my decidious shrubs are starting to bud, a little early really. A cold spell could set them back a bit. Also my helebore orientalis is in full flower. It really is beautiful. The flowers are almost black, with cream stamens inside a real contrast.
My dafodills and narcissus are also in leaf.

is quite nice, reminds me to do some gardening *looks at garden skeptically*

I meant to put it as a guide entry, so i could keep it running 
me!
I know where the flower place is now, i'm going later in the year. Its only 2 stops from Liverpool St, so won't take long.
