Kind of ironic. One of the most famous castaways is rescued into heaven just as the federal government abandons thousands of its citizens in hell on earth.

Yes...As I was typing though my tears, I confused Bob Denver's brilliant role as Maynard Keynes (Dobie Gillis' sidekick) with his later role as the immortal Gilligan of "Gilligan's Island"...I'm sure I've made other mistakes in my initial shock and disorientation.

John Maynard Keynes (First Baron Keynes of Tilton) was an English economist and we can safely assume that, as he died sometime in the forties, he never crossed paths with either Dobie Gillis or that coolest cat of all time, Maynard G Krebs.
