My, this IS embarrassing...
Well, I found out what "fong goul" really means...after naively plastering it up on about five different locations. Now that I've added to the cleanliness of the Internet, I wonder what to do next? I guess I'll just do it again!!
Fong goul is apparently short for "Vaffanculo", which means "up yours" (in a much more negative way).
Sigh.
