Fair play, the spire definitely adds some character to Dublin.

It's wonderful to read someone who agrees with me on this subject. As a Galwegian, whenever I visit Dublin, the highlight (no pun intended) of my visit is the Spire. As Jim Larkin's statue a few yards south says, "The great appear great because we are on our knees. Let us rise."

No .... No
Absolute Rubbish!
Looks like another Chimney on the skyline - just more on fire than the others
Simple Stupid design that can't be called art.
Pants.
Boring, really boring.
Like looking at a heroine needle up close while mosying down the street. (which cynics will say makes sense - this dublin after all - with its burger king blue-light bathrooms for a reason)
Has no Reference of any form to culture or ... well, anything really - besides needles, and a desperation to be seen as modern.
Grey, functionless structure without any beauty.
Uninteresting.
Highlights a starless sky and a distain for humanity by looming over and disturbing the landscape with its industrial gloom … doncha know
Hey, how are they gonna take it down?
