Listening to local radio - they've asked members of the public if they think Bridlington should be modernised. One woman commented "I think it should be modernised, there's no modern shops like Debenhams and other traditional modern shops"

What she meant to say was moditional, we all love moditional shops like Debenhams, Old Look and that nice Mr Curry with his new fangled electrical goods.

If it was a proper modern town it would have blocks full of poncey townhouses punctuated by charity shops.

A modern Debenhams...chance would be a fine thing in Chester! It's awful! on about 5 floors with steps, ramps and lifts everywhere!
