h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Hey J (if you don't mind me calling you that).

I'm an Offical Scout here at h2g2, and as such I trawl through the EGWW and Peer Review on the look-out for writing that could be added to the Edited Guide.

I saw your first attempt about Chess was unfortunately met with the fact that there already is an Entry about the game in the Edited Guide. Hopefully you read my reply about that, so aren't totally disheartened.

I thought I'd drop you a line too, though, as said by others, don't feel disillusioned, we've all been there, and while I have over 75 solo Entries in the Edited Guide, it's taken me years to get there, and very enjoyable one's they were too.

Writing for h2g2 can be loads of fun, and a learning curve. There's some great people about (and some pedantic one's too! ), and there's so much more to hootoo than the Edited Guide (as Feisor, your ACE said).
