I was signed up to a Joke of the day-type service, till I was on holiday for a month and the damn thing spammed up my inbox. 
A couple of things to do for the extremely bored:
-Find a Googleplex. No, not by spending hours with a calculator, but trying to find a search term for an engine like Google that only produces one result. Rather tricky.
-Try and get from A to B. For the exceptionally bored only: starting off at a random site (I find random.org a good start), try and find your way back to another, predetermined URL, just by following links pages. finding your way to Google and entering the end destination in there is considered cheating.
-Check out some of the weirder items for sale at internet auctions - people's souls, famous landmarks and some downright junk!
