h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I'm back in Uni, I'm back in Uni! I have a big room, the food still sucks but the people are wonderful as always. Slight problems with my student loan but that should be sorted by now *skips off, full of the joys of being back in Uni*

It's wonderful, isn't it? Plus I'm in halls for the first time ... so far a relatively pleasant experience (apart from queueing to get my parking permit). Still have no idea when I'm likely to get the internet connection in my small but nice room, though ... when that happens, I'm staying up late most nights for online chatting to various nice people, including the new b/f.

Although I'm gonna have more contact with freshers than I thought I would over the next couple of weeks - apart from manning stalls at Fresher's Fair, I'm also gonna be talking to first years about why they should think about doing PhDs! (Catch 'em early, I suppose ...)

So, how's the backlog going? I couldn't resist a chance to add a bit more...

I haven't dared attack the backlog yet. Even the quieter threads are in their hundreds. I think I'll leave it til next week and just try to not let it grow any bigger for the time being
