I was in the city centre last weekend, and I bought a pair of trainers; the first pair of trainers I've owned since 1999. This has been the first time in over 3 years that I've had more than one pair of footwear - I now own a pair of shoes and a pair of trainers. Although admittedly the shoes are rapidly falling apart and need to be thrown away...

well i haven't owned trainers since the early ninties, prefereing boots, of which i have two pairs, and two pairs of shoes.

But I'm too lacy to go that far. (Lacy - lazy - shoe laces. Terrible isn't it. No more jokes like that - I'm putting my foot down - or I'll tell you to shoe!)
