I'm still relatively new here myself, & I thought it might be kind of nice to just pop in on a few of the recent arrivals. You know, say 'hello', 'welcome aboard', all that....& I suppose, considering the time of year, offer some shortbread cookies & eggnog .

Anyway, feel free to drop by my space, to learn a bit more about me -something I didn't mention, is that although I am both a city, & apartment dweller, I really enjoy the more natural aspects of the city, particularly our River Valley here, & among other activities, our annual Folk Music Festival which takes place on the southern edge of the River Valley. Check http://edmontonfolkfest.org/ for a nice view of the festival site, & the city skyline. - Otherwise, make yourself comfortable, & expect a visit from an ACE (Assistant Community Editor) before too long, they'll give you an official welcome, as well as a few pointers, to make you feel a bit more at home.
