Cooking 70s and 80s music is definitely an art. The LPs tend to go all floppy and can then be used as decorative ash-trays, plant holders or individual display shelves.

PS I can also do sensible conversations if you'd like to stop being self-referential sometime. But if you'd rather just talk to yourself that's fine too. For your next trick you should try to get yourself made into an ACE and be the first one back to ACE your personal space!

There's no need to get offended. I actually thought your posting onto your personal space was quite clever. I'm sorry I didn't make this clear enough.

If you haven't already found out anything you want to know about how to use this site, you can ask a question here or wherever seems more relevant. There should be an ACE (Assistant Community Editor) dropping by at some point anyway to give you some interesting links or helpful hints. So I'll go away and leave you to explore.

PS If you find a message really offensive you can always press the yikes button (should look like a ringed exclamation mark to the right of the message) to get the moderators to suppress it. Alternatively you can unsubscribe from a conversation to delete the whole thread (although this actually just hides it from your personal space).

Well now that 190977 has updated his personal space, so that I know he is actually called Phil and was merely replying to a Dave, of course I can be more helpful.

Phil, you might like to change your preferences so that you can be known by a nickname instead of just a number. Use the Preferences link which should be in the frame of any page you look at. In brunel format it is 7th down in a box on the left hand side. Once there you can choose to be called Phil (although you might like to add something else in case there is already a Phil) and change your skin (the format in which you view the site). The really cool thing about this is that it should affect all the conversations in which you've already participated as these references to you are links not static text.

Sorry for pre-judging you SEF you are being very helpfuk to Phil.

You are absolutely right Phil, Cazzy is really nice, and she is one in a million.
I hope you and your Mum are doing OK, and your Brother and Sister too.
Do you have any other brothers or sisters Phil?
I know I see Vinny's name on some of the emails you send to Moira. and Cazzy has told me about your Sister.

45 on september 7th and theres
frank he was 42 on the 8th feb and my brother vinny hes just come in he was 40 on the 12th feb so were going for tomorrow night and i have 1 sister her name is maria she will be 32 on may 16th she has 2 lovely little daughters elizabeth will be 4 on 10th november and laura will be 3 on the 7th november lol dave may i ask when is it your birthday??
also one more question how do i open attachments on picture messages in email vinny has loads of good picture emails to

thank you for your message, and your very nice words.
Your family sounds really nice, and I imagine you are all pretty close. I like that.
My birthday was last month Phil, 16th. Jan.
About the emails, there is no way for us to open an attached file. All we can do is to keep loading them, and hope that they show. I have found out though, that it is virtually impossible just now to see any from your received list. A way round this, is to send them either to yourself, or to someone else, and when you load them from your sent list you get to see them.

miss our chats my email has been playing up all day with stupid error codes i just wish they can do something with it my brother vinny hes on blueyonder hes been askin about you a lot hes just about getting used to his p/c hes only had it since september but when i looked at it its brilliant and the things it can do its unbelievable it cost vinny £400 he knows a friend who can build them from scratch and he adds things to it like explorer and allsorts im thinking about getting one myself there well worth the money hes just bought a printer from p/c world and a scanner so hes looking into that now lol anyway

When you do your emails Phil, you have to load the same one 4 or 5 times before the pics will show, but they do eventually work.
I hope you're enjoying your weekend, I've just had a quiet couple of days.

active mail it wont sent to p/cs for some reason i tried a few times to send vinny the emails of moira and he hasent recieved them my mum is fine thanks dave she says hello to you and moira and sends her too shes going on unlimited on the gas and electric its called stay warm because
shes 67 yrs old now alls she pays is £52 a month dave and she can use as much gas and electric as she wants you and moira should look into that m8 you could be entitled to it anyway dave thanks for your replys its always nice to hear from you and moira
