I grew up in the Chicago suburbs, now my time is divided between rural DeKalb and the Ukranian village of chicago. But I think the idea holds pretty much anywhere

My mother grew up in Moweaqua and my parents were living in Cowden when I was born.
Temple is still the kind of redneck railroad town that Mt. Vernon was when I was a kid in the Seventies.
Y'know, beehives and bellbottoms...
