A universal dilemma *sigh*
(I've been away from hootoo posting for such a long time that I keep hitting the Front Page button instead of the one clearly marked 'Post Message' It's really not like riding a bike, as it turns out.)

Alabaster. Please don't tell anyone. I do know it's wrong, but I'm stuck in my ways.
Oops - nearly did it again.

No, no, no, alabaster is the Best. But I agree, lets not tell anyone.
I'm trying to figure out how you can mistake the FP button for the post message button though...

It's just because it's top left and I automatically make a lunge for it. It is getting a bit better now though.

I just looked at my ps in alabaster and it looks rubbish...
All that effort I put into making dreadful Brunel look is just so wasted sometimes...
Seriously though, alabster is just so... so.. so homeopathic

I think it looks better in alabaster, Effers
Trin, the Eds will be proud of you, all those visits to the FP. You should pretend that it's intentional

kea I'm going to but out of that islam thing. It's the old goal post thing again, and I can't be arsed with dealing with it anymore. And I just don't have the patience to deal with the whole lack of.......well, I just don't.
Anyway, the main point is, I wanted to tell you how pleased I am that you are back. Of course we disagree on certain type things... But really I so appreciate your intelligence, wit and warmth.
And don't get embarassed. These things need to be said sometimes.

Thanks Effers I appreciate that feedback, especially when I am being almost maligned elsewhere
I can understand why you don't want to rehash all that. It's good to be reminded of the shifting goalposts thing, that's a useful analogy that sums it up neatly. There's also that ignoring of what people are actually saying thing going on, which is what happened to you
Ah, well, I'm just spoiling for a decent debate.
I enjoy your presence in those threads too, not least because while we have similarish views you still manage to bring up things that challenge me. That's nice to have that challenge not just from people that I am diametrically oppposed to
>> Of course we disagree on certain type things...<<
I'm guessing you mean religion there, not queer things. Unless you are talking about blicky

Why does blicky sign his name with a rainbow? I've never worked that out. I suppose I should be asking him.
I too enjoy your presence in debates, kea.
