Feelings.
I'm in the darkness, running scared
My darkest thoughts, never shared
Days on end spent all alone
Waking up daily, on my own.
Sometimes I feel, I can't go on
Struggling to know what went wrong
The emptiness leaves a massive void
A loving marriage, now destroyed.
I have no reason to question why
I never go to say goodbye
They filled her mind with accusations
Total lies and insinuations
Telling her that I never cared
And destroyed all the love we shared.

I don't believe they destroyed the love you shared. She would have been confused at the end but love does not die like that and you should treasure it. You have had what many have never been lucky enough to experience.
I hope you are keeping up with your group for some support.
