Is it like this?
*The picture is of an armoured metal creature, one arm becoming a sword. It's face is almost fully metal, save for the jaw, which is a greeny blue colour and displaying big big fangs. A dark jewel is embedded in it's chest, forehead and where the hilt of it's sword would be.*

no, no ,no, its a fount blop with a flat base, it has 2 big fangs coming down from the base, and three neuclei in the center of the blob

OH!!! THE GAME!!! I JUST FOUND SOME!!
*straps metroid in the beastifier and picks something out of the dangerous items box. It is a tiny metroid.*
Ok... careful now... don't touch the bottom...
*places it in a tray in the beasifyer, where it promptly begins to drain off the energy*
DAmn... hang on, I'll turn up the power.
*does so, and pulls lever*
POOF!! 
You are now a weremetroid. You have a full metroid form, a half metroid form in which you have a bizarre human shape, but made of the weird cell like stuff of metroids, and three deadly tusk/claw thing that you can make appear anywhere on your body.
