Need to know about the U-bahn, the S-bahn and buses in Berlin - they are apparently the best in the world at what they do and put every British bus network to shame!

FWIW disabled accessibility is far better on public transport in Berlin than in London.

I can't compare Berlin to London, not knowing London, of course, but in general you can access any train/bus/tram/subway with a wheelchair - provided you make it to the platform. As far as I remember, most, but not all, train and subway stations have an elevator. Riding an escalator with a wheelchair migth not be desirable...
