h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Oh what a lovely morning - I'm currently having kittens waiting for information about very sensitive compounds I'm making.

The lab I'm in at the moment contains several people, the permanent occupents being me, Suvi (a Finn), Steve H, Rachel and the encyclopedic Mike Edwards and Phil P. Stav, Kelly, Duncan, Chappers and Diane are frequent visitors.

We're all either postgrad or postdoc chemists. Whiling away the hours making molecules for a variety of reasons. If you want to find out more - check out the Department of Chemistry website at the University of Bath - it shouldn't be too difficult to find. I'm in the Frost Group.

We're coffee addicts and have a pot on the go at all times.

Rachel's made cakes for everyone and they're delicious. Fairy cakes all round. Suvi, who'll be leaving soon, was the previous major cake-maker along with Kelly. Both of whom regularly make cake for people's birthdays.
