Abbi inspired me to create this thread where we can post links to our favourite Bio-images.
These might be pictures related to our bodies/illness/wellness, that we use for healing, meditation, art, or any other inspiration.

HLA-B27
*picture for health meditation*
There are other representatives but this is the one I use the most.
I started by going to web imagines in google.
then typing HLA-B27 Lots of images.
This one first looked like a battle between two beings.
One with a giant head and the other distorted with battle fatigue.
I try to see them in a dance now.
After living with the image it can change or it can tell me where I am by the first thought or feeling that comes to mind when I look at it.
I had a picture of a nearly healed wound (various stages)I used it for a long time until I could imagine checking my own wound and seeing it's condition. I had almost forgotten about that visual. It was my first and about childhood and family traumas. It is healed just scarred.
I have also used pictures of particular cell problems to work while seeing the part I needed to "help". For instance the cell wall or the division. Stopping the division....
Hope that makes some sense

My computer just crashed again, losing another nearly completed post
I'll just bump this up so I don't lose the thread and then post again in a bit.
Thanks for the EBV images - I have some questions I might come back to you with.

Strangelittlegirl just gave me this link:
http://www.virology.net/Big_Virology/BVHomePage.html
>>The Big Picture Book of Viruses is intended to serve as both a catalog of virus pictures on the Internet and as an educational resource to those seeking more information about viruses. To this end, it is intimately linked to All the Virology on the WWW, and our collection of Virology Courses and Tutorials. <<
I haven't had a good look at it yet - wanted to keep the link handy.
