well u shud be recieving a visit from an ACE soon (sort of official volunteer that go around helping out new people!)
congrats on trying out guideML most newcomers aren't brave enough to try that to begin with, tho it looks like u cud do with a hand! Hopefully the ACE's will point u in the right direction!
