I can't help on Guide ML. ....I've no f******g idea! I've tried but don't have enough time to learn ..... a lot of people here spend far too much time on this site ..... it's ONLY A WEBSITE!!!.... get outdoors....the sun won't burn you!! .try talking to a person face to face!!!

Anyway, during the week, I'll pass on any shortcuts or user knowledge I've picked up .. which ain't much!!

More of my crappy tips - If you feel like writing an article, go ahead but make sure you hit: Not For Review.

This saves two things happening:-
1) If you are working on an untitled piece, you won't get everyone reviewing it, saying it's not finished, don't make sense, blah,blah.
2)You can keep it in your user space for as long as you like until you think it's ready.

If you want to write something, does it have to be a guide entry?
All the s**t you see on mine, hasn't got in but is still in the sites search engine.The rules for guide entry are quite strict and I can't be arsed be arsed to write something that is very factual and turns out quite dry and boring.
The Illonois Enema bandit would never got in!

Look in peoples spaces and leave a message if they look interesting!

Don't jump into a thread if:
You have not read the backlog - this makes posters insane!
Although there is no such thing as privacy, some threads are plainly between just a couple of people and they could get antsy or just ignore......... post on the "reply to user space" thread.

thanks sdm...I'm still wandering around in my head about what I might write about...I was thinking about fatherhood.

Lots of guys I meet (who kack themselves as soon as it looms) seem to need a little good humoured guidance / not to mention practical advice...anyway,maybe I should read the guidlines before getting much further....

btw - I'm on the case with the sdm special zappa review...might just do a little more on it right now...

Hi there! *waves* I am no Ace either Terri is ill, so on her behalf I apologize. She is really quite enthusiastic and helpful ace person!

You can go to my page to visit! I am on and off quick but often. I can help if its not too much of a *techie computer* like question! I know the site pretty well. Ask h2g2 and the front page tells a lot, the Help will lead you anywhere you might like. Everyones personal page is available, click on their name. It is easy to get to know folks if you like what they wrote visit their page and tell them or just say Hi. People are friendly.

Terri and Yodas page is a good place to say hello to about a dozen regulars, any journal on the front page is busy at that time.

Abbi, thats my mistake I'm afraid ... I was not sure when Terri was coming back and as her page is always busy, I wrongly assumed she had returned!
I asked her to Ace because I could not think of a friendlier, more enthusiastic greeting than from her.
I appeared puzzled over non-Aceing because she is so fast!
