What's wrong with being a smiley - geek? The geek shall inherit the earth, you know! smiley - tongueout

Personally, I'm a geek and proud of it.

wasn't it bill gates who said be nice to geeks, you'll probably end up working for one...? i'm great! i've learned that i can make cookies from scratch without a recipe, just by eye, *even* with weird german ingredients, adn they're quite edible! thrilling, isn't it!

Sure, did you know if you add together the ASCII values of WILLIAM GATES III (I forget his middle initial, but I think that's in there, too), they equal 666?

And oh yes. I've always wanted to meet someone who can make German scratch cookiees with their eyes .... that must be difficult, though. smiley - winkeye TTYL.

wow that's so incredibly amazing. he's not totally evil, the bill gates foundaiton does more to benefit AIDS victims in africa than foreign aid the US gives. but windows is evil.

I never said Bill Gates was evil. I only know and use his products.. I know nothing of him or of politics or ethics (see other post). I just said his name adds up to 666, which I find interesting.

smiley - cool

suuuure. ooh, that reminds me of that one song ... who's it by ... i think it's iron maiden, number of the beast. good song. back on topic, i'm quite proud of the fact that almost every time i asked a question in bio this year, and it's second year, which is as far as you can take it at my school, the teacher had no idea how to answer. i thought it was sooooo cool when we went to the local medical school / hospital and got to look at a dissected cadaver. and when we dissected pig hearts, i was the only person in my group willing to touch it, and i'm the only veggie, i just find it too fascinating to not touch. did you know that the aorta -- that big artery that loops over the top of the heart -- is big enough to fit your finger throuhg? i'm definitely a geek in some ways. ^_^

Well, although I'm obliged to point out that a biology geek isn't a computer geek, I'd much rather know ANY kind of geek than any non-geek. We're just that much cooler. smiley - winkeye
