i have been thinking about a future problem i will have this year and if anyone has any suggestions.........

if all goes to plan, i will be having a vegetarian staying here and need to accommodate to his tastes. its not a moral thing, he just doesnt like the taste of meat.

he doesnt eat any meats or fish. stuffings, gravies or custard.
he loves all vegetables and fruits and many cheeses and also has a very sweet tooth. (trifle with no custard?)

now im a qualified but retired chef, so my cooking skills are brilliant, but limited in the imagination department
he loves pasta and rice and had complimented me on what meals i have created for him so far.
ive never cooked a nut roast, so im not sure about what they are like. maybe he can have a ready meal

has anyone any suggestions as to what to serve up?
i dont just want him to have a plate of sprouts and mash

something to make it that bit more special for him and bearing in mind that i have the 'normal' christmas dinner to do as well.

I'm only here for a second, ... a load of week-end stuff to do. But m'dear, you know that my missus is also a 'retired' military , with a natural interest and talent for foods. I will put it over to her, and she will get back to you. With ideas for every diet concern, no doubt.

Nope. Have you checked the link the Prof posted? I haven't had time yet, and the evening is getting busy ...

ive had a quick look and saved it as a favourite for future reference.
