Got back from the festival in Cheltenham last night. A lovely festival, specially the pub sessions with the Winin' Boys, Gerald Ross, Manitoba Hal, Remco (Ukulelezaza), Paul Moore, Lorenzo (Ukulollo) and our pals Helena & Nora, as well as the organisers, Ally, Jude, Phil and Tony, and various other enthusiasts.

The looked after us wonderfully and the organisation was preternaturally good. Bravos!
Here's my trio on stage http://www.youtube.com/watch?&v=EKvKgpcDUmg
We're called 'Aisling Out Walking' -- James Quah, Aisling Walsh and me.

I really enjoyed your set. It was lovely to meet you, sorry I was in a rush at the time and couldn't chat more. As promised, I've attempted a rimickle for the occasion, see here: http://h2g2.com/dna/h2g2/classic/F120626?thread=265158&post=110622483#p110622483 MC

Thanks MC! Nice to meet you there! Not my image of you at all, it must be said. How deceptive avatars can be.
BTW your post doesn't show in Pliny; I think they are having trouble with external links. All fine here in Brunel though. Thanks for the Rimickle!

But nay, yours was an internal link. That's what they are having trouble with.

The headline band, the Winin' Boys, invited us to join them on stage for their last song. They sent us the link to the tune three days before the concert, so we learned it in record time and felt very shaky, but here it is http://youtu.be/988_06y6HTg

Make that two days before the concert. The email inviting us to join the Winin' Boys onstage came on Thursday morning; I copied down the song and arranged it and sent copies to Aisling and James that morning, but we didn't meet till Friday morning at the airport. We rehearsed at every odd moment, and in two long sessions that day, and again on Saturday morning and at odd moments after our spot in the afternoon, then performed it on Saturday night.
This is not recommended. But we survived.
