I am credited as co-author of today's front-page article "Religion - an Introduction".
I took part in the peer review of this excellent entry by Dystopia, and many of my complaints were taken on board, and some of my suggestions added. It remains Dystopia's work as far as I am concerned; I will look into the possibility of taking a demotion to co-researcher.

Phew. I'm now removed to "additional information provided by" where I feel much happier. Not that I repudiate anything in the entry, it just isn't mine (apart from the last sentence and a few more bits).

There is only one thing worse than being Gosho, and that is not being Gosho Posted Jun 12, 2007
You could ask the Eds or a Curator to remove your name from the entry completely, if you feel the need.

How gracefully disclaimed.
Of course, the 'Religion will always be here' thing shouldn't stop us railing against it. That's true of a lot of things. Remember that at one time things like slavery and the subjugation of women were considered 'normal'. Both of those are still with us, but are no longer considered The Done Thing.
Maybe we can gradually move to a position where religion is no longer considered to have a privileged position. An interesting hobby, but nothing more.

Lucky Llareggub - no more cannibals in our village, we ate the last one yesterday.. Posted Jun 12, 2007
"an interesting hobby, but nothing more"
something like the study of name origins:
Caesar - long haired
Cadwallader - battle arranger
Craig - crag dweller
and so on
