I just stumbled upon this. I am a 63 yr old newish pilot who wants to fly to Venice, solo, in June of this year. I am looking for a plane & am brushing up on ground & flying skills; I am also working towards my instrument rating. I am Kate Florio, in Tucson at the moment, & am flying in & out of Marana Airport (a nearby town). I am new & don't know what I am doing, but since the sight looked interesting, here I am! Thank you, Kate

Hello flyingflorio and welcome to h2g2.
I've left you a welcome message on your Personal Space. You'll find a lot of useful information in it, and you can ask me questions any time - I may take a while to get back to you, though, because my internet is currently v e r y slow when I try to access BBC sites.

My name is Feisor and I am an <./>ACE</.> here too - there are lots of us.
I have "yikesed" your post and will ask for your email addy to be removed - it is not a good idea to post personal details for everyone to see.
Check out the <./>ACE</.> Welcome on your space - lots of useful hints, and don't worry - there's always someone around to help

There's no actual House Rule against posting personal details on the site, but it's certainly not advised.
Welcome to h2g2, Kate.
