Sorry, but I have no idea about how long soft contact lenses last, or if you can dye them yourself - but I think you'll have a much better chance of getting a reply from someone who knows if you start a conversation over at <./>Askh2g2</.> which is frequented by quite a lot of people.

Many thanks for the help,the reason for the question was that I have had contact lense tinted by a company to my spec but the price has gone up,so I wondered if it could be a D.I.Y project ? Thaanks again
