Hello ship mates,

It's been a while since I've put to sea, and the old crew have deserted. I'm sure it's only temporary but I wish they'd left the sails, rudder, sheets, life rafts... well the whole ship really! Still, I don't suppose it will be long before I'm navigating my way round h2g2 like a veteran, and with assistance should make my understanding of Life, the Universe and Everything fuller, richer, thicker, of substance and meaning, (and answer the question of why those scurvy crew left).

Now you sound like an experienced sea farer, how did you lose the leg? As for destination, it might be a bit of a hitch hike to begin with but the search for the Blagged Pig starts here!

Thanks for the tip about Jules being a landlubber, always good to know who might put to sea for you in an emergency - although I'm sure he'd be prepared to take the plunge if the need arose.

Also this is meant to be a serious Role Play Game (rpg) there are some youngster in there and hopefully they will all behave themselves nicely!..
