Hello cyberrizwanhjs and welcome to h2g2
Are you needing help on any particular topic? I only ask because this is more of a help page than for general chat, but if you do need help either Existential Elevator (the ACE (Assistant Community Editor) who left you a welcome message on your User Space) will be more than happy to help you or someone here will in EE's absence.
If you're after some general chat, however, why not try out <./>Askh2g2</.>?

Take the excellent <./>dontpanic-tour</.> for a more in-depth look at h2g2 (or click on the 'What is h2g2?' option on the left hand menu), but h2g2 is basically Douglas Adams' view of an Earth edition of the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy
When you ask if I know of any lost civilisations, do you mean you'd like to learn more about them? There are a few good entries on some of them, including this one on the Minoans A765146

How are you getting on? Did you take the tour and does h2g2 make a little more sense now?

yea, i am getting on preety good.......and yes it now make a bigger picture to what i am searching for. i actually am getting more curious about the site every day. i like the way, one's opens their mind of information to the world. it's really meaningful and helpful in terms of understanding different prospectives.

Hello checkvalve!
Shurikens are some sort of Japanese ninja weapon or something, I'm not sure!
Just so I can help you out properly, are you using the default Brunel skin (the one with the differently coloured sections and the menu on the left hand side) or one of the others? And what exactly are you having trouble with

Hi,
thanks for the reply. It seems the only thing that I am having trouble with is my own stupidity. I presumed that "my space" was some astronomical area on the site. Star Trek has a lot to answer for!

We've all done daft things like that, panic ye not!
Is there anything else I can help you with at all?

Hi,
thanks for the kind offer, but I suspect that it is just a matter of experimenting and becoming familiar with the site. However, If I go seriously wrong, a steer would be appreciated.
many thanks
