h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I signed up so that I could research dinosaurs for my 3-year-old son. He is absolutely infatuated with "see-saurs." His collection of dinosaur toys include a brachiosaurus, triceratops, stegosaurus and a Parasaurolophus - which I had never seen or heard of before - so I'm learning something new too!
They haven't crossed my mind since high school biology class, now my husband and I wax philosophical about the demise of the dinosaurs and the rise of mammals. It is so amazing how the Earth has rejuvinated itself time and time again over billions of years.
