Can anyone tell me where I can find a talent agent?

I have no training or anthing but I thought getting an agent would be the easiest way to get into acting. But I don't live in London.

Hello and welcome to h2g2, newme07.
I can't answer your question, but I have left you a welcome message on your personal space.
You could go and post your question on <./>askh2g2</.> , although I would advise you to be a bit more specific if you do.

to B'Elana.
What kind of agent are you looking for newme07? The reason I ask is that agents tend to specialise ie theatrical agents for actors etc.
If it's not an actors life for you, you could try looking on http://www.vocalist.org.uk/index.html there's links for representation all over the UK and some non-UK ones as well.

I'm so smart, I didn't even read the question right! Newme07, there is no easy way to get into acting with or without training. One thing you could try is ringing your local TV company and try to find out which agency handles their extras. Without experience or an Equity card there's no reputable agents would take you on.
To get some experience try your local Amateur Dramatic Society and you could also find out if a local Polytechnic or College have a course on Drama.
I don't really want to discourage you but just remember that for every struggling actor there's 1,000 bartenders, waiters and unemployed thespians
