I am a wildlife Illustrator and work freelance from home. I gained my BA(hons) degree in Scientific & Natural History Illustration. to me, the grand age of 57yrs four years ago.
The way that course stretched me is hard to describe, but after the death of my husband I needed somthing to take my mind off everyday life and that did it for me. Now I can sit and paint all day and have something to show for my labours.
When others admire my work and even burt into tears when I have reproduce a portrate of their loved one or pet, gives me a good feeling. I have Evhibited around the county and with the National Exhibition of Wildlife Artists - NEWA. I am getting ready to hang another exhibition in the next few days.
Apart from painting I have three grown up daughters, all with partners and two wonderful grandaughters and a grandson, so life is quite busy but I enjoy the challenge of painting a new subject or trying something different
