h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I know,I know I have been really boring and not said anything other than I exist, but I'm just so ARRRRGGGGH! you know what I mean? Getting caught up in lifes everyday boringness and normalness...I never thought I would ever be normal!Eventually though time takes its toll on everything and in order to exist in this world one must conform or at least pretend to which I guess is the same thing! So I finally wrote a poem about it, I think it's my second this year and that truly is shocking! considering that in the last 7 years I have written over 200!Well here it is:

The sound of a ticking clock,
the melodious,
the insidious,
Tick Tock.

If I am trapped by man made walss,
surely only I,
can make them fall?

Time ticking slowly by,
you HAVE to think about it,
you HAVE to ask why...

Why construct a constraint,
and enter into the pressure it creates?
Why not instead of time,
trust your lives to fate?

I do not live,
by these man made walls,
I cannot mold myself,
into a soul that is flawed.

And so I find myself alone,
in the darkest hours of the day,
Freedom is a sacrifice,
for which my, ever lonely soul,
must pay!

Thanks. Ye I've been writing for ages but mostly its deep and dark stuff, I don't write much happy stuff...what about you?
