During my time on h2g2 I have compiled a comprehensive (and that means long) list of questions which no one really needs answered. Here they are:
Is there any logical purpose for the Who's Online button?
Why are the most popular threads popular? Is it because they hand out sweets or are they just attention seeking?
Who are the moderators?
Why does the Editor never leave that dark office at the very top of the Guide?
Why is it that no one who enters said dark office never leaves?
Given that Terry Nation is Welsh does that mean that Skaro is actually in Powys someone?
Isn't the "Preferences" button rather worrying?

I simply live in hope that somewhere across time and space all such ideas will be answered....
As for Moderators, they're a faceless group acting for some unknown agenda towards a pre-arranged efficient working plan masterminded by an even more enigmatic master somwhere in the top of the editing room.
Lance, you have to find out the question though?
